Emma's 3rd Birthday Part 2

I promise I wanted to post this sooner, but other things came up.  Anyways, back to the Bubble Guppies party.  Emma wanted to have lunch foods just like on the Bubble Guppies show.  I bought these bright buckets at Oriental Trading.  They are a little more than I wanted to spend, but I love the way they looked.  I can also use them for other things.  Here is what was in each bucket: chips, veggies (carrots and celery), ranch dip, and fruit snacks.  My mom and dad cut up all of the carrots and celery and put them in little baggies for each guest.  Then my mom put yummy ranch dressing into little plastic containers.  They were perfect for the party and Emma loved them so much!  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa.  You are the best!  There was also makings for turkey or ham sandwiches.

My sister RuthAnne made Clam Cookies and Peanut Butter Beach Balls for the party.  You can check out her blog for the Peanut Butter Ball recipe.  It is probably Emma's favorite dessert.

Emma was so excited to see Grandma Warner and Great Grandma Nelson come to the door.:)

Adam and Emma loved the hanging ornaments 'bubbles.'

Emma loves to have picnics so I put a blanket on the floor so Emma and her cousin could eat there.  Plus we don't have a ton of room in our townhome for a lot of chairs.;)

After we ate we played Bubble Guppies bingo.  Here are Dallin and RuthAnne.  My family is so amazing to always participate in all the games.  Emma and Adam don't have any cousins yet on my side of the family, so the grown-ups have to play the games.

I think Emma's favorite thing we did at the party was the piñata.

Of course they loved the candy after the piñata broke open.

We also played Fishketball.  The kids threw balls through the hole.

Next up... the cake.  Emma always has to help others blow out the candles on their cakes, but this time it was her cake.

Then Emma opened all of her gifts.  She was so excited!
Great Grandma Nelson gave her a bunny house she has been wanting for a long time.

Aunt Courtney and Uncle Brandon gave her restaurant menus, and an order form on a clipboard.  It was so thoughtful!  Emma loves to play restaurant.

Grandma and Grandpa Melzer gave her clothes, this cute Elsa jacket, and toys.

Aunt RuthAnne and Uncle Dallin gave her a little office.  The office had notepads, stickers, crayons, post-its, a watch and of course sunglasses.  Emma loves everything in it!

Grandma and Grandpa Warner gave Emma a darling Christmas outfit and this penguin.  She has wanted it for so long.

Anyone who would like to could fill a plastic fish necklace with sand before they left the party.  I bought the fish necklaces and sand at Oriental Trading.

Emma and I made a Bubble Guppies scene on a trifold project board.  We wrapped it in blue wrapping paper, added seaweed, sand, and of course Bubble Guppies.  We made it for a fishing game, but it also worked perfectly for a backdrop on the dessert table.  I love when you can use something in more than one way.:)
Everyone came over to fish for a favor.  Candy bars for the guys and a little notepad for the girls.

We had such a great night!  Emma is still talking about this party.:)

Oh I love my little Emma.  I can't believe she is 3!
